Paris, France - France Télévisions announce a big social
media campaign for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest while their
performer Anggun, keeps with her busy schedule around Europe, now making
special duets for her entry Echo (You and I).
The Eurovision Song Contest is one of the most popular TV shows on the web. In France it's no exception and their broadcasters France Télévisions are offering a lot of possibilities to "allow us to be more than ever a social media" incorporating Social TV during the prime time show.
The event will be tweeted live from the accounts @france3tv @franceotv and @francetvdirect with the associated hashtag #eurofrancetv that will be shown on screen. Some users' tweets will be even shown live on TV! A unique multi-screen plan on a dedicated website will cover every aspect of the program so that the fans don't miss any part of it.
This website will include the live streaming, the tweet wall, all there is to know about Anggun and the other candidates, as well as flashback informations about previous Eurovision contests. It will also be possible to vote for your favorite candidate and directly join the fan community through the forum.
Besides this, three guests will go with France Télévisions' team to Baku to be the backstage eyes and ears of the viewers during the Semi-Final and the Final that will be broadcasted live. Backstage, press room, artist's room... they will be everywhere trying to capture what happens behind the scenes. This special feature will be available through the official France Télévisions medias (Facebook, YouTube, etc).
In Malta, Anggun has made a duet with this year's runner-up in the Maltese national final, Claudia Faniello. The song is called Echo (There is you and I).
