Famous from Indonesia : ANGGUN , SOEKARNO and BJ HABIBIE
Famous from Indonesia is Soekarno, BJ Habibie and Anggun. I am proud that Anggun can be preloaded with Sukarno and BJ Habibie in one article.
-. Anggun is the first Indonesian artist to break into the European and American record charts. Her albums have been certified gold and platinum in several European countries. She has received a number of accolades for her achievements, including the prestigious Chevalier des Arts et Lettres from the French Minister of Culture. Aside from her musical career, Anggun has been involved in numerous environmental and humanitarian works. She has been appointed as the global ambassador of the United Nations twice, first for the International Year of Microcredit in 2005 and then for the Food and Agriculture Organization in 2009. Anggun is scheduled to represent France in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
-. Sukarno, born Kusno Sosrodihardjo (6 June 1901 – 21 June 1970) was the first President of Indonesia.
Sukarno was the leader of his country's struggle for independence from the Netherlands and was Indonesia's first President from 1945 to 1967. He was replaced by one of his generals, Suharto (see Transition to the New Order), and remained under house arrest until his death.
-. Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie (born 25 June 1936), also known B. J. Habibie, is an Indonesian former politician. He was the third and shortest-serving President of Indonesia, serving from 1998 to 1999.
