Anggun Christmas Concert at the Vatican

For the third time, the Vatican invited Anggun to fill the annual Concerto in the XIX Natale or Christmas Concert held on December 21, 2011 at 20:45 CET. According to the schedule, the concert will be aired by RAI Due television on Christmas Eve December 25, 2011 at 21:00 CET.



Impressions this Christmas concert will be relay by Rai TV station Internationale Asia on December 25, 2011 at 13:00 CET or 19:00 pm. Anggun singing his latest single from the album 'Only Love' and a duet with Ronan Keating sing 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas'.


Anggun first appeared in the Vatican in 2000. At that time, Anggun is the first Muslim singer was invited to sing at the Christmas Concert. Until then, just three singer / musician who has appeared in Asia there, namely Wesley Chu (pianist stateless Canada), May Nie Hong (soprano China), and Shonosuke Okura (Japanese traditional music singer). There Anggun sing two solo songs, namely 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' and 'Still Reminds Me' from the Chrysalis second international album.

After Montecarlo, consecutive Christmas concert held in Verona Italy (2007-2008), Catania Italy (2009), and Valletta Malta (2010). This year, the Vatican City back to host. Concerto musical concepts in Natale is featuring the music of opera, pop, soul, jazz, world music, and streams other music with orchestral accompaniment. The singers will sing Christmas songs and / or the song itself, either solo or collaborating with other singers. All of the performers, before or after the concert, will be given the opportunity to meet with the Pope. So also in Anggun.
